description: I have taken one Illustration class during my entire Ivy Tech career. I passed the class well enough, however, Illustrator isn't my strongest (or even favorite) Adobe program. I'm more partial to Photoshop and InDesign. The image displayed below is my favorite piece to come from the class. I had to draw myself (although I used a ReeseRoyce as inspiration) and make it into a flyer. The teacher didn't like that I had the character in a profile position. I personally love the look. I tend to go against a teacher's wishes and do my own thing. I do try to stay within the general guidelines, but I veer off into my own little world after that. I'm not a fan of limiting my designs. I can usually visualize what I want within a matter of minutes of receiving a project. It's just a matter of interpreting that onto the computer.  Getting back to the current image, I used three different fonts. I'm unsure what those are considering this was made back in May. I do remember I wanted a bubbly font and blocks. I'm a very bubbly and outgoing person and I wanted that to be seen through my poster. I also added a texture to the background to give it an even more girly and elegant feel. I personally believe it gives off a fun, yet classy impression.  Take a look and let me know what you think! -Butterfly
